Great adhesive
This is an easy to use and very effective adhesive. I wanted something for exterior use on a shed build. It is easy to use from the tube and critically for me is an expanding adhesive to help with gap filling. Cleaning off is best done while wet. When set it is hard and strong. The adhesive ‘keeps’ for some days after the tube is opened, if the nozzle cap is used. Cannot fault this product if an easy to apply, gap filling, waterproof adhesive is what you need.

Best adhesive I’ve used!
This adhesive is brilliant! It dries in 5 minutes so is really handy for a lot of applications. It expands slightly so fills in gaps between surfaces that you might be trying to stick. And it sets really hard so there’s not much flexibility in the joint.

First in line to stick in time
I first used this product occasionally about 20 years ago then about 12 years ago I used it to stick an exterior paving slab in place that had become detached from its bed. Just rubbed both surfaces with a carborundum stone, brushed them off, sprayed with a mist of water and applied a thin zig zag line of adhesive . Job done . Time taken about 3 minutes. Used about one third of a tube and saved chipping out, mixing a mortar and waiting more than a day for it to set. I've since used it on 2 other slabs as the first is still stuck firmly in place. Time taken 3 minutes Time lasted 12 years +

Brilliant product!
Highly recommended, and here are a few tips. You may also require a piece of cloth, a plastic spreader and a thin wood-screw (30mm drywall is ideal). A very user-friendly form of polyurethane adhesive. Tried the 'golden syrup' type by other brands and they are just as strong but they're too messy and wasteful. Evo-stik is a gel – not a ‘runny-liquid’ – and is applied directly by cartridge gun to one of the surfaces. It looks a bit like thick wallpaper paste so it stays where you put it and it's easy to control the quantity being applied. It’s fluid enough to spread itself when clamped but a plastic spreader will do a much better job. A tiny blob of adhesive can easily cover 10 sq.cm. Any excess would be wasteful and might ooze out from edges when clamped. Don’t wipe this off, let it dry first, it becomes a kind of flexible foam and is quite easy to peel off later. But with practice the correct quantity can avoid this chore. It sets firmly in 5-10 minutes and it’s strong! Remember, you only have 2 or 3 minutes open time to position your components/clamps and check/readjusted if necessary. Any adhesive remaining on the tip of the nozzle will quickly set to form a ‘cap’ and this will usefully preserve the adhesive within. When next needed, break off this ‘cap’ by gently twisting it but use an old cloth to keep fingers clean. After a longer period of disuse, the ‘cap’ may extend a bit deeper into the nozzle. A thin screw, screwed through the blockage then pulled out with pliers invariably solves this. Sometimes, up to 30mm of adhesive continues to expel from the nozzle half a minute after the trigger has been released, especially from a new/full cartridge. This will mess up your work area. So, allow for this by applying less than is needed and place the nozzle to drip over the surface being glued. This is not a Gap-Filling-Adhesive. When it makes the transition from liquid to solid it will expand and turn into a weak flexible foam. Although this would fill a small gap, the foam has very little strength. It's fantastic for timber, mdf, ply-wood etc. and even concrete, brick and grp so long as surfaces can be firmly held together for 10 minutes after application. It's my favourite adhesive by far.
