Quality feel

For the price these are excellent handles. THe curve of the lever is smooth and fits the hand really well. Not too traditional and not too modern either. We found them just right. THe packaging was excellent too with clear plastic over each component to protect from scratches. Only gripe is the quality of the screws - a bit soft and can mark when tightening.

Direct replacement of what we had before

On the negative side the screws that came with it are made with soft metal so you might want to use better quality ones. One broke going into hard wood. Moved onto the forward / backward screwing motion with the others. Better screws are required if going into solid oak doors. One of the secrets of the house. Note the door handles are for internal use so you must expect corrosion if used outside. Replaced what had already been used on the door so expect these will go the same way after 5 years based on what we saw. Next time round will probably go for outside handles if these don't last. Previous owner who had the house built had it fitted out this way. On build quality, yes they look like all the rest through out the house apart from front and back doors which had used outside handles. Patio and balcony were these. For DIY people hint use some silicone on the bar and fixture inside.
