Rise & Fall Hinges
Also known as Rising Butt Hinges, this type of hinge is best if it is specified that the cubicle doors must be in the closed position when not in use. These hinges are also ideal for environments where quick emergency access is important, as using Rise & Fall Hinges means that the door can easily be lifted off of the frame.

Self-Closing Hinges
As the name suggests, Self-Closing Hinges offer an easy way to ensure that cubicle doors stay closed.
Just like with Rise & Fall Hinges, Self-Closing Hinges are ideal for high-traffic areas, but unlike the Rise & Fall variety of Hinges, many of these hinges are fitted with concealed screws, making it virtually impossible for the door to be forcibly removed. These concealed fixtures also provide an added bonus of a clean and aesthetically pleasing end result.
For this reason and many others, Self-Closing Hinges are the perfect choice for environments such as nightclubs, leisure centres and exhibition centres.
Pivot Sets
Cubicle Pivot Sets are a great alternative to standard Cubicle Hinges, allowing for Cubicle Doors to swing both ways. This not only allows for ease of operation, but safer emergency access if necessary. Pivot Sets are suitable for heavier doors thanks to their bottom brackets, meaning they are capable of supporting more weight.
Cubicle Pivot Sets are ideal for more high traffic areas and are a great way to ensure compliance with Approved Document M, as this document states that wheelchair accessible washrooms should include Cubicle Doors that open outwards or offer inward opening that does not impact turning space or activity space.
