Taurus fence post driving tool

I found that the Taurus driving tool is definitely needed for the job. It is profiled in order to miss the internal ridges of the Taurus post spike. A plain square driver won’t work. Because it is a plastic moulding the feet spread a bit after some sledging and makes it a little more difficult to insert ant remove during the process. Otherwise a good tool.

Works well but has a slight tendency to spread at the base, easy to rectify with a file, drove the spikes in nice and easily, there is a tendency to twist, but you can cure this by changing from right hand to left hand swing, for some reason this seems to cure it.

Did a good job.

Bought this for use with 75mm post spikes. Glad I did as ground was very stoney fits in top of spike so it can’t move much when hitting it. Surprised how well it stood up to being hit with a sledgehammer, a few chips and gouges but perfectly ok to be used again

I bought this tool as i am putting up a new wooden fence, this is perfect for driving fence post spikes into the ground makes life easier really fantastic product i am so pleased great value for money and it can be used again and again with out damaging the spikes.
