- Designed to be fitted to an existing hard base
- Red oxide powder coat to blend in with fencing whilst also providing a medium rust protection
- Can be painted over
- Ideal for patio fencing, decking, pergolas or car ports
- Holds post base above ground level to prevent rot and decay
- Inverted fins in the post holder section enable a quick fit and holds the post base in a vice like grip
- Fixing plate bolt hole size: M10

Disappointed
It might work if your wood post is soft. A hard, well-seasoned post will not be driven in without immense force. But the main problem is that the metal vanes are only on three sides, leading to the post being forced into an angle off from vertical.

Does the job but could do with altering !!
There okay but the post holder could do with having the side slots punched out completely and not leaving the grooves down side as then you have to drive you post in or cut bit of the post which is a pain

For an uncluttered covered decking area …….
I particularly liked the fact that there were no unsightly nuts and bolts with this shoe. More work involved in inserting the upright, but well worth the effort. Have used these shoes now at 2 different locations.

Hello, Usually you shouldn't have to score the post for it to fit, we advise for them to be knocked in. This can be done with a sledge hammer or post rammer Thank you

Hello, Yes these take the 100mm posts and a lot of our customers have used these to make pergolas. As long as you secure it to the ground with the correct bolts for your application then it will be fine. Thank you
