Rips out loose material

I bought this to ensure the resin bolts were going to set correctly in the holes I drilled in brickwork to support some floor joists. The wire brush was certainly good at ensuring no loose material remained in the drilled holes. I would however have liked the brush to have been a couple of inches longer. My holes were less than 100mm deep and the brush just managed these. If I need to drill holes deeper than that I will need a longer brush. Also, my holes were 14mm diameter which is the largest size this brush is indicated for. If your holes are any bigger you need the next size up.

Although this was an excellent tool I hadn't realised it was a wire bristle and so not suitable for the job I intended
