Period looking fitting

Ideal replacement for period door matched with cast iron knob and hinges. One of the hinges needed to be replaced as on inspection is was buckled but ironmongery direct replace the immediately and with fuss

Pretty good but a couple of niggles

As others mentioned, it does stick a bit and the catch doesn't always spring back smoothly. I gave the innards a good spray of WD40 before installing and that helped. The screws were rubbish- heads mashed up halfway through so I ended up using my own brass ones. I would give it 3.5 if this let you do halves.

Helpful Company but not so great product....

Not the best quality door sashlock. They company is great, when I let them know we were having issues they tried helping over the phone but ended up sending a new lock. The new one is a little better but we also purchased matching handle to go with the lock thinking that might help but the handle is solid and very heavy so doesn't bounce back when you try opening the door you have to manually twist the handle back up to the starting position which I think is not great. Not really sure what to do now so will just live with the dodgy door lock/handle...

Rim lock

Locks look lovely on my old doors, however, the latch does not spring back automatically on many occasions unless so manually turn the handles. I think the keys could be a lot smaller

Replacement

Great replacement for an existing lock which we had lost the key for. Well made and easy to replace. Also looks nice. 10/10
