It works well.

Does what it says on the tin but I had to remove one of the three springs to make it easier to close. Removing it was very straightforward. Can be a bit awkward cutting it to size.

Great product

I have an uneven floor so the brush type excluders would get stuck. This one lifts up when the door is opened and folds down when shut so perfect for me. It was easy to cut to size and install and stops all drafts under the door

Not suitable for a PVC door flush with very shallow frame on the outside

When the door is closed, the flap is closed by a button which has to be attched to the door frame. Many UPVC doors have a very shallow frame on the outside which does not have space to attach the button. So I had to return this product and find an alternative. For this reason I have given only three stars. But the product is well made, and the idea is a good one for the right setting.

Brilliant Door Draught Seal

We recently moved house and inherited a North facing front door with a large gap under it (to clear the door mat inside). The recent winds have been whistling through making the hall absolutely freezing! It looked like we would have to remove the door mat and then fit some sort of large threshold bar, then we discovered this hinged seal. It works perfectly - seals a 20mm gap and then flips up to clear the mat inside. Absolute doddle to fit. One small tip, I had to shorten the unit by 100mm and so took 50mm off each end to keep the screw holes evenly spaced across the width of the seal. Great product!
