Fitting tin mortice
As others have said they may need the fins that provide the mortice to be bent to fit. Bent mine to fit using a vice to pinch each fin to shape. Not a major issue!

Not universal brackets.
This is not suitable for all concrete fence posts. Had to grind part of mortise away.
