Just the job
If you need captive nuts to stop your legs falling off your chair, these are excellent. If you only want a temp fix, you can remove them easily afterwards but if this is a permanent fix, use some araldite or similar to bond the nut into the cavity and the joint will be as strong as any other woodworking joint
