Incompatible with Spur

I bought these brackets to use on existing Spur/Spur compatible uprights only to find they are incompatible (slots closer together and deeper lugs). Spur developed the twin slot system years ago, and very good it is. Patents expired years ago and several alternatives are now available. I have a fair bit of genuine Spur and others acquired over the years. Generally lighter duty, but there again Spur is somewhat over engineered! Would be helpful if incompatibility was made clear in the description

The shelving system is good quality and strong.I have used it for bookshelves indoors and also for shelving in the workshop using scaffold planks as shelves. Very cost effective at the price.
