Rotten design
These locks are as good as any out there but but suffer from being designed by a mechanical illiterate. Operation relies on a soft metal cam operating a very thin steel strip with, as you might expect, rapid wear of the cam. The lock then becomes very unreliable in operation in a relatively short time, a problem easily rectified if the manufacturer really wished to do so (which they probably do not)
