Disappointed

In the photo the handle looks rounded, but it actually isn’t. It’s also rather stiff, so it’s uncomfortable for my hand (I have arthritis). There was no time to return it as the decorator needed to fit it straight away.

Top Quality

Arrived well packed. The product quality far exceeded the handle that I was replacing. Finish excellent. The cost was more but well worth the extra. A simple thing but a note in the package I thought was particularly good information for customers who perhaps have not fitted door handles before, especially on hardwood doors. A steel screw is provided to provide a pre cut hole before removing and inserting the brass screw. Thus avoiding the risk of shearing.

I am very pleased with it. It looks very impressive. I think the springs on another 2 door handles will fail soon and I will replace them with M Marcus as above

Met my specification

I needed a handle to replace an old imperial handle that had failed and one that was suitable for an outside door. This product seemed to fit the bill and I only needed minor adjustment to the key hole to make it fit. The test of time will show if it is weather proof.
