Quality and easy to fit
Easy to fit good for narrow sashes. Looks nice and solid. Has tolerance for older wobbly frames.

Large handle
The handle is rather large so you must ensure it doesn’t hit the front sash when you open the window

Excellent as usual!
We have brought many items from Ironmongery direct. All the brass is very good quality and the delivery time excellent

Does the job but lacks quality
I bought these to replace two near identical window catches. The catches are okay but the screws supplied were not right being round headed rather than counter sunk heads. The locking mechanisms are also different lengths on the two catches. Obviously the quality assurance is lacking for this product.

Good quality and value for the price
From inspection and installation, this appears to be a good sash window lock, although I haven't of course subjected one to a strength test. The finish is nice and operation is smooth. The security locking screw (although crude) seems to be as effective as any other I've seen on the market for this type of lock. The brass screws supplied with the lock are next to useless however, as the shanks shear off the threaded part under moderate tightening. I used brass-coloured steel ones obtained separately.
