These door closeres work fine but they have no delay at the end. So the door are always banging.

NOT fit for purpose!
I bought TEN of them. Waste of money, waste of time. They are NOT fit for purpose and they should be removed from the market. Clockwise increase the tension, anti clockwise you reduce it, yh sure, forgetting to mention that if a window is open in the room, the door, after being perfectly adjusted will bang to the frame with such a force that somebody could get injured. You adjust it considering a window might be open but then doesn’t “self-close” or may be you didn’t consider the wind force, the point of which you begin to close the door or perhaps even the floor on which the property is located. What a nightmare. They should be removed from the market, in my honest ignorant opinion and that of 3 carpenters trying to adjust them!

Easier than I thought to fit...
Needed to replace 4 of these in my flat and thought I’d avoid the cheap ones and go for something decent. Never tried fitting these before and of course my doors and frames had the holes/recesses already there. I had heard they were a nightmare to fit but I had all 4 of them done in less than one hour.

When it comes to fire safety fit the best
Great products and whilst a pain to fit the fitting tool to Hold the chain during installation makes it worth the marginal extra cost for choosing a solid brand over a cheap knock off Great product and worth it for the extra peace of mind when it comes to fire safety

Hello Open the door to 90 degrees and insert a panel pin through the chain as close to the door as possible. Remove the screws from the plate attached to the door frame, then place the claw of a hammer over the chain and gently prize out Thank you
