A disappointing product and only worth the money if you are prepared to spend a lot of time modifying it to get it to work; the screws provided were too long to be of use for most (period) meeting rails and the countersunk screw holes were not deep enough to allow the arm to clear the screw heads. The diameter of the circular knob on the lever arm is too large, so the fitting has to be positioned extremely carefully on the upper sash to prevent it damaging the meeting rail of the bottom sash when the window is opened or closed. The "antique" finish is quite crude and as the replacement screws I had to use were bright brass time is required for natural ageing.

Ideal Classic Sash Fastener

I live in a Victorian terraced house with sash windows and needed a replacement sash fastener. With its classic design and antique brass finish, this fastener was ideal, and it is extremely well made and very robust.

Well made and nice feel

Doing a listed train station and needed to have some windows replaced. This hardware was in keeping with style and age of building.
