Door Closer Calculator

Use the calculator below to see a range of door closers that meet your needs. All fields are required.

1. What is the weight & width of the door?
2. Does the closer need a backcheck function?
3. Will it be used in a light or heavy footfall area?
4. Is it a fire door?

What is a backcheck function?

Backcheck slows the door in the opening swing to help keep it from hitting an adjacent wall or having wind throw it out of your control. Backcheck resistance should only be felt near the fully open position.
