Use projection hinges to position heavy doors beyond projecting architraves, window boards and down pipes. Typically used on heavy glazed conservatory and glass house doors. All fixing screws are set in the same positions as standard butt hinges to allow maximum projection.Never use a door closer with projection hinges as the geometry of the pivot point will foul the closer operation. Polished brass hinges will weather as they are a moving part exposed to the elements.
