Sealmaster AR Range

Sealmaster AR Range Image

This seal is usually rebated. The range of five inserts makes it suitable for a variety of compression, sliding and wiping applications, including standard hinged doors and windows, sliding doors and sliding sash windows. The aluminium profile is the smallest in the Sealmaster range, ideal for use in fine detail joinery. The seal can be a tight push fit or glued into the rebate, normally with the insert already in place. If this is not possible and the insert has to be added after the holder is fitted, this can be supplied with slots milled near one end to facilitate inserting the elasto-meric seal into the holder. Slotting can only be provided if cut sizes are ordered.

Sealmaster PEF Range

Sealmaster PEF Range Image

The PEF range of wiping seals is designed for fitting into the meeting and pivot stiles of hinged doors, swinging through 180 degrees. Four blade widths are available to cover gaps ranging between 6mm and 17mm approx. The blade seal operates by wiping on the PEFS section. This seal is not recommended where the gap is less than 6mm. Normally the blades are inserted into the open ends of the holder but where both ends are covered the holder can be supplied with a milled slot for this purpose. PEFS is pushed into place from the front. Other wiping applications include sliding and folding doors.

Sealmaster TT Range

Sealmaster TT Range Image

TT Stop Seal is designed to take five inserts to solve most sealing problems likely to arise. TT is easy to fit and adjust, because our method of securing by screws in over size holes provides a slight amount of movement when fixing. TT can be used with any of the Sealmaster threshold seals in this catalogue. The choice of insert depends upon the type of door involved.

Sealmaster BDA/BDB/TTM Threshold Seal for Outward Opening Doors

Sealmaster BDA/BDB/TTM Threshold Seal for Outward Opening Doors Image

The adaptability of the Sealmaster range of seals is illustrated by this threshold seal for outward opening doors. When the threshold sill is designed to form a stop on the interior side, draught and weather sealing rarely offer any difficulties. But where the threshold is flat, as is often the case in corridors leading to the outside of a building, where access without impediment is required, there can be a problem. The solution shown here makes use of the BD threshold strips and the TTM seal.

Echelon Weather Seals

Echelon Weather Seals Image

The Echelon range incorporates both foam filled and solid weatherseals encompassing a wide selection of seal solutions. Foam filled weatherseals have been with us for many years now and need no introduction, however the Echelon range has certain features you may not be expecting. The foam core is 'non hydroscopic' restricting the ingress of water within the product. The new footing detail allows easy withdrawal and re-insertion for painting, together with the range being boxed individually giving a more flexible approach to ordering. The 'skin' material used in Echleon is no stranger to the weatherseal industry having been used successfully for many years offering a 'no change' situation for many joiners shops. The range has the added benefit of being impervious to water based paints and stains. Tested to BS7412* dynamic recovery Echelon is designed for use with timber doors and windows.
