Smart Tack is an advanced spray bonding system that out-performs and outdates conventional contact adhesives, providing significant performance and time saving application benefits. Based on new technology resins, Smart Tack is applied by spray, producing very fine strands of high solids adhesive that form a web type pattern on application. Primarily designed for bonding laminates, veneers, edge bonding, vinyls, PVCu sheet and fabrics, Smart Tack is ideal for use in the furniture, shopfitting, laminating, woodworking and exhibition contracting industries. Surfaces can normally be closed after only 3 to 5 minutes and can also be left open for up to 2 hours. A high early bond strength allows items to be handled, cut, drilled and plained within 5 minutes of closing. Its fast application spray method means that it is 15 times quicker than applying conventional contact adhesive by spreader and it will go approximately 3 times further. Requires no airline, electric or press and is easy to maintain and much less messy. Smart Tack contains no CFCs and is low odour making safer for users and the environment. Risk/Safety Code: R12, 40.
