We have added these European style rim and mortice budget locks to our range because of the demand for functional budget locks that are one step up in design from the traditional UK patterns that we have always stocked. Both the rim and mortice patterns are supplied with a key.

Cabinet Mortice Deadlock - Brass

For cupboard doors or drawers up to 23mm thick. 4 pin mechanism. Cylinder rotates to produce either drawer or left and right handed door lock. Supplied with 2 keys and a ferrule / bezel to fit neatly around the barrel when fitted. Order keep separately.

These locks are simple in design and installation. The operation of the side entry lock barrel with the key raises or lowers the inside bar, which in turn lifts / lowers the locking pins. Supplied with three pins for locking three drawers, the pins can either move behind blocks mounted on the side of the drawers or,if the width does not permit, the drawers can be notched. A 600mm bar is supplied as standard but can be cut to length. It can be surface mounted or fitted into a routered groove, two saddles are supplied to guide the bar. There are hundreds of variations of this type of lock, we stock this as the most versatile and consequently is the most popular.
