Popular because the oval shape allows easy grip and turn. The rim knobset is supplied with special fixings to allow for fitting over rim locks where you can't screw into the lock.

Round Brass Mortice Knobset

When selecting flush fitting handles check for sufficient door thickness. These handles are 19mm deep when cut in flush. If fitting to both sides of the door allow at least 2x19mm plus lock/latch thickness dimension. If fitting to one side of the door you can offset the lock or latch to accomadate a thinner door.

These handles are commonly seen fitted to squash court doors. Other popular uses are flush or sliding doors and secret doors where the handles can be painted to match the door finish.

In time and usage the original colour of this product will slowly age, giving each piece its own natural uniqueness.
