Levers and knobs in this small range of hand cast traditional fittings are exact copies of traditional British patterns. They are hand made and consequently will all vary to some degree.
The antique finish is a finish that is applied to brass so will consequently deteriorate if regular maintenance is not undertaken. Maintain as you would polished brass. However its not uncommon for the antique brass finish to be left un-maintained so as a natural aged patina can develop from constant wear by contact with hands.
