A strong break glass exit bolt for exit routes that would not frequently need to be used or where you would typically not want occupants to pass through unless in the event of a genuine emergency. A typical application would be a door between two separately let offices where one office needs an escape route through the other office. When the glass tube is smashed the sprung bolt withdraws automatically.
Each bolt is sold with all parts except the padlock which you must order separately. Glass tubes & hammers are sold separately as spares.

The Red Bolt is the original break glass bolt which is virtually identical to the bolt above; however this bolt is stocked as it offers two main advantages, firstly a dual sided option is available that allows emergency exit from either side in an emergency. Secondly, the Redlam Bolt has established itself as a specifiers favourite for many years, consequently there is a strong replacement market.

CE Marking - The Briton 570 touchbar range conforms to BS EN 1125 and carries the CE mark under certificate of Conformity number 0099-CPD-A44.

Briton 570 Touchbars - The Briton 570 panic exit devices are suitable for application to single doors and in combinations on rebated and non-rebated double doors.
Consideration should be given to the use of door co-ordinating devices for rebated pairs of doors.
A door co-ordinating device must be used for fire/smoke applications.

This outside access device can be used with all the panic and escape hardware listed on this page. The quality of this access device far exceeds many others on the market.
