All electro-magnetic door closers must be linked to the building's fire alarm-system. When the alarm is raised the devices de-energise and close the door, smoothly and effectively.

Can be used on doors with mechanical door closers to provide electro-magnetic hold-open facility. Electromagnetic door holders are controlled by the fire/smoke alarm system and hold the door open until either:

• the alarm is activated manually, or by a heat/smoke sensor
• there is a power failure
• the door is closed manually by pulling at the door edge

FSR Transformer Rectifiers are for use with fire/smoke electro-magentic door holders where 24V DC power is not available for the continuous rating required.
