Product Description
The new Briton 2003V door closer is designed to help you meet the requirements of BS8300:2001 for DDA use, this highly efficient door closer has variable power allowing easy on site adjustment to meet access (user needs) and fire requirements.
If you are fitting doors, or upgrading doors, that need to prove ACCESS FRIENDLY for all, you should be selecting this door closer.
As well as making access easier for all users, it has all the benefits of the proven Briton 2003 - ease of installation (fits old 2003 footprint to aid upgrade), reliability and full certification.
Further enhancements have been made for this new 2003V. Firstly the closer includes fully an adjustable backcheck facility that minimises the risk of damage to the door, its hardware, the frame, and the surrounding structure. Secondly the closer is supplied with the award winning installation system as standard, saving as much as 50% on installation time and ensuring accurate fitting and therefore maximum closer lifecycle.

•Performance: Successfully type tested to all the requirements of EN1154
•Fire: Successfully tested to conformity to all the requirements of EN1634 (closer must be fitted to pull side of the door to comply)
•Performance, fire safety and production procedures: CERTIFIRE APPROVED CF111
•Assessed for use on FD30, FD60 and FD120 fire resisting doors (closer must be fitted to pull side of the door to comply)
