CE Marking - The Briton 570 touchbar range conforms to BS EN 1125 and carries the CE mark under certificate of Conformity number 0099-CPD-A44.
BS EN 1125 - The European standard EN1125 covers panic exit devices for buildings used by the public providing 'safe and effective escape through the doorway with minimum effort and with prior knowledge of operation'. For example: theatres, shops and schools.
Briton 570 Touchbars - The Briton 570 panic exit devices are suitable for application to single doors and in combinations on rebated and non-rebated double doors.
Consideration should be given to the use of door co-ordinating devices for rebated pairs of doors.
A door co-ordinating device must be used for fire/smoke applications.

This outside access device can be used with all the panic and escape hardware listed on this page. The quality of this access device far exceeds many others on the market. It comes supplied with a Union Euro profile cylinder as opposed to a cheap imported cylinder. The knob is sprung ensuring that the latch firmly retracts when the door is closed, many others are unsprung relying on the spring mechanism of the panic hardware to retract both the latch and the outside knob set. The oval grip knob allows for a firm grip yet reduces the opportunity for vandalism.
