This range should not be confused with the inferior imports which are often seen in today's large chain DIY stores and hardware shops. A key feature of this range of hardware is it's strength and durability. You will find that DIY stores versions are brittle and will break under any force. We have included locking casement fasteners in the range to allow for added security without compromise to style.
Product care: it's important to care for antique black items just as you would any other finish. Left alone items will eventually rust and deteriorate. Wash with warm soapy water periodically, rinse and finish with a light application of furniture wax. Annually items will benefit from rubbing with an oily cloth and drying with a soft cloth.
