A traditional catch used in a wide range of furniture production, now available in satin chrome for contemporary applications. The tension of these catches is adjustable with the use of a flat head screw driver allowing for precision pressure requirements.

Touch latches are simply enagaged and released by applying pressure to the face of the door. Commonly selected for doors or panels when the use of pull handles is to be avoided.

Ultra high performance rare earth neodymium Iron Boron magnets can lift up to one thousand times their own weight. Use structural adhesive to bond into place. These magnets are supplied zinc plated for maximum corrosion resistance but are not recommended for harsh environments such as seawater or steam applications. Maximum operating temperature: 100° C. Rough cast from solid brass and finished with a fine lacquer coating to prolong the finish. This range is truly authentic and hand made from casting to packing, it's the genuine article that's been widely copied. Traditionally seen on cottages and period properties where a tough and robust alternative to black iron is used as a design feature.

Maintenance will be required as the product is manufactured from solid brass. To keep the products in their original condition wipe over regularly with a liberal application of household wax polish. Once the lacquer finish starts to deteriorate you should follow the care instructions detailed at the back of this catalogue.

Universal and suitable for both lift-up and drop-down doors, this multi-purpose mechanical stay is supplied with both a carcass fixing bracket and a solid door fixing bracket. By simply pushing the catch it enables the arm to be repositioned and thus changes the braking action from braking when closing (lift-up doors) to braking when opening (drop-down doors).
