Be sure be sure to check hinges of a sticking door

Sticking doors can quickly become a major annoyance for even the most serene of people, but usually they can fixed relatively easily in a few simple steps.
If the frame of the door is in good condition, then chances are that the hinges will need some sort of adjustment. It is a good idea to start by checking the screws on the hinges to ensure that they are all fully tightened.
According to experts, another thing to try is to mortise out the area under the hinge, if the door appears too far from the hinge at any point. By resetting the hinge further into the frame, the door can be levelled out and should stop sticking
If, on the other hand, the hinge is set too deeply into the frame, it can be raised slightly by placing a piece of cardboard cut to fit just underneath it.
Once the hinges are set properly, it would be a good idea to give them a fresh spray of oil, in order to ensure that they don't start squeaking every time the door is used.
