Improve your home individually

Conservatories were advised this week as an ideal way to personalise an abode and create an individual home extension.
Kevin McCloud, presenter of GrandDesigns, said the addition to a house can add value as well as creating extra space and individuality to a home.
He said it can also have an environmental aspect to it.
"An opportunity to extend out the back is an opportunity to re-orientate and change the direction of the building so that the sun can heat the building more efficiently," Kevin stated.
Pre-fabricated doors were another building tip offered this week, with joinery firm McTavish Ramsay saying it can reduce building costs by up to 50 per cent.
Ken Shepherd from the firm said the efficiency and savings in such a move are too big to be overlooked.
"The precision of factory finishing - especially now that we have installed state-of-the-art machinery - means that parts not only fit and match exactly but also ensure regulatory compliance," he says.
